Eastleigh man robbed of £1,000

A Eastleigh man has been robbed of £1,000 while he was in his flat.

Police are appealing for information into a robbery that happened between 9.15pm and 9.35pm at an address on Twyford Road on Sunday 8 March.

Two men entered the flat with their faces covered. The men assaulted the occupant and stole £1000 cash before leaving.

The occupant, a man in his 30s, did not suffer any injuries.

The first suspect has been described as a man aged between 20 and 30-years-old, 1.83m with a thin build.  He was said to be wearing a black woolly hat, black hoodie, black trousers and a flowery/white scarf covering the lower part of his face

The second suspect is also male and 1.83m tall and was wearing a blue or grey hoodie, blue jeans and a scarf over his face.

It is believed the men fled on foot

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who was on or passing through Twyford Road, near to Drummond Court, at the time of the incident and may have seen anyone in the area running away or matching this description.
