Happy’s Circus will launch its festive show ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ tonight (3 December) with a special gala evening attended by the Mayor.

All profits from the first show will be donated to the Mayor, Councillor Cynthia Garton’s chosen charities; Mountbatten Hampshire (formerly known as Countess Mountbatten Hospice) and the Remembrance Walk at Itchen Valley Country Park, which are both supported by the Mayor.

Happy’s Circus has raised over £13 million for charities across England and Wales over the years.

The Mayor, Councillor Cynthia Garton said:

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming Happy’s Circus to Eastleigh town centre this festive season. We hope that the show will encourage families in and around the Borough to visit their local town centres again, our high streets need a boost this Christmas following a tough year.”

The Mayor will attend the first of many festive shows put on by the circus in the heated Big Top which has pitched on the Leigh Road Recreation.

Happy’s Circus promises a performance full of Christmas magic, which will be hosted by Santa himself along with his elves and will even include snow.

Happy’s Circus hopes the festive show will help bring the crowds back into Eastleigh Town Centre and help the wider business community as people head back to the high street during the festive season.

You can book tickets for the any of the shows between 3 December 2021 and 2 January 2022 here.
