Eastleigh police are appealing for information after burglar’s made off with a haul of digital goods from a house at Nutburn Road, North Baddesley.
Sometime between 2.20 and 6.15pm, on Saturday, November 17 the burglars smashed their way through a rear patio door, breaking the glass with a heavy pot plant. They searched every room of the house and removed many electrical items, cash and jewellery.
Among the stolen items are a silver iPad in a grey leatherette case, a dark blue Acer laptop a white Apple MacBook, three digital cameras, £50 in cash, an empty grey metal safe which is one foot square, two iPods, one with a cracked screen, a quantity of jewellery and a large black rucksack.
A witness reported seeing a black motorbike leaving the scene in the afternoon. The male rider was about 6ft tall and wore a navy jacket and trousers and white trainers. The pillion passenger appeared to be a thin woman about 5ft tall and wearing coloured leggings. She had a backpack with reflective strips.
The motorcycle drove towards Rownhams Road in the direction of Nursling and Rownhams.
Another witness reported seeing a white Transit-type van in the drive of the house at about 3.30am Saturday. The distinctive van had a lower rear panel with silver and green diagonal stripes. The driver left at speed when he realised the van was being watched.
