Burglars strike at Bursledon

Jewelry and computer were among items stolen during the burglary of a house in Lionheart Way, Bursledon on Tuesday October 9.

Between 1 and 6.15pm, someone forced entry to the house through a secure kitchen window.

Stolen items include a ladies thin gold wedding ring and a silver bangle, both of sentimental value because they belonged to the victim’s grandmother.

Also stolen were a Nintendo DSi Black and its charger, a black and purple Samsung NC10 netbook and charger, a Sony seven-inch portable DVD player with its charger and case, a ladies thin gold necklace, Swarovski crystal bangle, necklace, earrings and bracelet, a ladies silver DKNY watch with a crystal linked bracelet and £500 cash.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw unfamiliar people or vehicles in the area on Tuesday afternoon or who is offered items of a similar description to the stolen items.
