English Democrats officially withdraw

Malcolm Moore

The English Democrats Candidate for Eastleigh Malcolm Moore has written to Eastleigh News to confirm that he has withdrawn as a Candidate in the General Election.

The 37 year old former Nurse and Timber Merchant said he had been unable to obtain the financial backing needed to continue campaigning.

He said in a Statement:

“I still support the English Democrats and believe in them. I will now focus my efforts on supporting the Isle of Wight Candidate, Ian Dunsire.”

Yesterday evening the English Democrat Candidate for Meon Valley, Pat Harris told the Hustings audience that he was funding his own campaign.

When Eastleigh branch of Ukip were asked if they would be urging those who might be supporting the English Democrats to transfer their allegiance a spokesman responded by saying:

“We would urge all Patriots to vote for Ukip”
