Local Latin dance duo Kai Widdrington and Natalia Javed have been preparing for tonight’s second live semi-final of ‘Britain’s got Talent’.
Junior World Latin Dance Champions Kai and Natalia will be vying for one of two spots in the Final to be held on 12 May.
The excited dancers earlier tweeted a photoof them taken while on their way to tonight’s show told Eastleigh News:
“We are so delighted and proud to have been selected to reach the final 45 acts from over 60,000 entrants! Our dream has finally come true and we can’t wait for our live semi-final tonight!
“Although, we have competed at a very high level and won championships in dancing in the past, this could be the most important night of our lives, we just hope that people support us on the night and vote us into the finals.”
Kai’s Mum, Candice Widdrington said:
“I am so very, very proud of them. They have worked so hard and tirelessly to get this far in the competition. We are all so excited to see what the future holds for them and can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction tonight.”
Kai used to go to school in Chandler’s Ford and currently attends Barton Peveril College.
He met his partner Natalia Javed at the A&L Dance Academy in Hedge End having started his career at the old Leigh Ballroom – a centre of excellence closed by Eastleigh Borough Council.
