Ninja Warrior UK, Southampton

Ninja Warrior UK has officially arrived in Southampton yesterday (20th May 2021) as families across the area came along to experience the new fun filled indoor adventure park based on the hit TV show.

Host Chris Kamara was invited to the opening day and took to Twitter to show his appreciation of the new centre.

We managed to catch up with the always delightful Kammy beforehand as he talked about the opening of the new attraction, mental health and how this will help families as well as what he has coming up in the future.

Before we entered the course, we had to watch a short instructional video so we can adhere to social distancing measures and was given some rather fetching Ninja Warrior branded socks which was a nice touch.

As we entered the main activity centre, there was such a happy atmosphere straight away that you could sense with smiles upon smiles ready and eager to give this new adventure park a go.

We gave the main ninja course a go first that is featured on the hit TV show and although it was physically tiring, you could tell everyone was having fun and pushing themselves to the limit. Despite this everyone was having a go at all ages which was so refreshing to see as you finished on the famous Warped Wall.

After trying this course out and for around 10/15 minutes, we then decided to try out something a bit more easier and fun with the inflatable course that includes bouncy castle like areas as well as superb slides and activities for all the family.

The inflatable course was so fun we tried this out for the remaining 40 minutes or so that we had left with our session. There was just so much to do and try as you could climb, balance, jump and swing across the centre as well as experiencing the bouncy balls and a load of inflatables that really really kept you entertained.

The whole hour session was just an amazing way to keep fit and have some fun. I would suggest any fan of the show to try this out or even just any fan of adventure parks because this is certainly the best indoor attraction Southampton has on offer today. Overall the experience was something to remember by and we will certainly be going again one day.
