A popular town centre takeaway has been presented with with a £250 gift card.
As previously reported, Pat’s Sandwich Bar in Market Street has won the prize as a reward for signing up to the new Eastleigh Borough Gift Card initiative. The takeaway as chosen at random in a competition run by the Council to urge more businesses to sign up to gift card scheme which encourages residents to shop local.
Customers can spend the Eastleigh Borough Gift Card at businesses across the Borough, from cafes, pubs and restaurants to florists and beauticians.
Customers simply load the card with any amount of money which will be redeemable in any of the retail, leisure and hospitality venues that have signed up to the scheme across the Borough. Any business based in the Borough can be included.

“We’re delighted to receive the prize and happy to be part of something that will help Eastleigh’s future coming out of these awful times.
“The gift card scheme will hopefully bring people out to shop in Eastleigh. We’ll be using our prize card to shop locally so that will help local businesses”.
