Thieves strike at Chandler’s Ford building site

Police in Eastleigh are investigating the theft of tools and equipment from a construction site compound in Chalvington Road Chandler’s Ford.

Offenders gained entry to the site sometime between 3pm on Tuesday, November 20 and 7am on Wednesday, November 21.

Once inside the compound entry was forced to a locked temporary building through a window.   A set of keys were found allowing the offender(s) access to a second temporary building where they stole tools and equipment valued at around £3,900.

Investigating officers would like to hear from any witnesses of from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area during the stated period.
