Eastleigh Flasher

Police are searching for a perverted man who targeted a 17-year-old girl and flashed at her in Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh. The incident happened between 19:50 and 20:00 on Sunday 20 November.

The man stood between two parked cars and flashed at the girl before he then ran off towards Factory Road.

In a statement issued by Hampshire Constabulary, the suspect is believed to be a while male, between the ages of 30 and 40 years old. He is roughly 5ft 9ins tall, of normal build and appeared to be bald. He had eyebrows which may have been plucked, dark eyes, a pointed nose and a long face with a structured chin bone. He was also clean shaven.

He was wearing a dark coat with a reefer collar and a plain grey flat cap. He had no top clothing on underneath the black coat, and was wearing a pair of black shorts.

It is unusual for flashers to operate on a residential street, especially in the middle of town. They are normally reported lurking in parks and woods, hiding in shrubbery, instead of a densely populated housing estate.

Eastleigh Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw either the incident or the man, matching the description, running along Chamberlayne Road at the time to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact PC Alex Fortune, at Eastleigh Police Station on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Bald? Is that a wise thing to suggest if he was wearing a cap?
