Local Plan consultation starts Monday

Eastleigh Borough Council’s Chief Executive Nick Tustian has signed off the Local Plan today. With all the evidence and technical reports in place the long awaited public consultation can now finally get underway . The consultation starts at 12 noon on Monday (June 25) and will run until 12 midnight on Monday 6th August. This represents the last chance for the public to give its views before the plan is submitted for inspection. The first of a series of ‘drop-in’ consultations, in which the public will be able to examine plans and question planners will start on 3 pm on Monday at Hamble Primary School – a full list of dates and venues can be found here .The Local Plan document together will all the supporting evidence can be found on the Council’s website www.eastleigh.gov.uk/localplan2016-2036 .   

The Local Plan document and key assessments will also be available to view at local libraries together with Parish/Town Council offices and Eastleigh House.

Residents can find out more at and have their say at www.eastleigh.gov.uk/lpconsultation – this will be live from 12 noon on Monday 25 June. Residents can respond online or in writing. Response forms will be available at Eastleigh House, Parish/Town Councils and at all the drop in sessions.
